Land Search and Rescue (SAR)

Donate

Land SAR is provided by Rutherford County K9 Search and Rescue which is its own separate entity that has agreed to operate under the umbrella of Special Operations Support - Emergency Response in order to provide that service in support of ESF #9 to served agencies.

The use of K9’s in SAR is a tool in the tool belt often misunderstood. K9’s should be used early on prior to having numerous persons performing a search while contaminating the scent scene the K9’s rely on.
