Due to the nature of the water environments encountered in Water SAR the following shots are required for each team member.
Medical Shots Required
TDAP (covers tetanus and diphtheria)
HEP-A
HEP-B
Swift Water Training
Swift Water Awareness
Swift Water 1
Swift Water II
Rope Tech
Public Safety Diver Training
NAUI Basic Scuba Diver or equivalent
NAUI Advance Scuba Diver or equivalent
NAUI First AID for Diving Professionals or equivalent
NAUI Full Face Mask or equivalent
NAUI Drysuit or equivalent
NAUI Rescue Diver or equivalent
NAUI Public Safety Diver or equivalent
Maintain personal Diver Alert Network (DAN) insurance.
